FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man for sexually assaulting a child Thursday.
According to a press release, Shannta Devon Fields, 23 of Florence committed a sexual battery on a 9-year-old victim between August 6-8.
The incident allegedly occurred at Field’s home.
Fields is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree.
Fields is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing before a circuit court judge, the release stated.
