FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence Police Department is investigating a shooting and robbery that left one man in the hospital with a gunshot wound.
According to Lt. Mike Brandt, officers were called Tuesday night just before 8 p.m. to McLeod hospital in reference to a patient with gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, officers learned the victim went to the 600 block of Ingram Street to meet with the suspect.
The suspect then robbed the victim and shot him as he fled on foot. The suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle.
