A Florence man was taken into custody after he was wanted by Fayetteville Police in North Carolina for attempted murder.
Lt. Gary Womble with the Fayetteville Police Department said Timothy Turbeville was wanted for attempted murder, in connection to the stabbing of a woman early Sunday morning.
Maj. Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, says the charge is in connection to a domestic violence incident. Nunn said deputies and investigators with FCSO responded to a call around 8:15 a.m. to East Palmetto Street where they found a woman who had been cut along her throat and had multiple other stab wounds. She was taken to a hospital but there is no word yet on her condition.
Nunn said Turbeville was discovered Sunday afternoon in Fayetteville, NC and was taken into custody by officers with the Fayetteville Police Department. Turbeville will face extradition to Florence County.
