FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Firefighters responded to an early morning structure fire Tuesday on the 200 block of East Pines Street.
The press release by Fire Marshal Ken Carr says the call came in around 3:45 a.m. and Florence Police and Florence County EMS were on the scene, too.
Carr says firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the home, but the fire was quickly put out and crews determined there was no one in the structure at the time.
Firefighters have not determined the cause of the fire and no injuries were reported.
