FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence firefighters were called to a house fire early Monday morning that destroyed a family’s home.

According to a press release, West Florence Fire-Rescue firefighters were called to a house fire around 3:30 a.m. on South Converse Drive in Florence.

Firefighters found a single story house with flames coming through the roof. Crews were able to contain the fire to the kitchen, living room, and garage areas of the house, however the house is a total loss.

All occupants made it out of the house without injury and no firefighters were injured during the incident.

The American Red Cross was called to assist the family with living arrangements and the cause is under investigation.
