Florence deputies search for suspect in Check and Go armed robbery

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence County Sheriff’s Office investigators have released photos of an armed robbery suspect and are asking for the community’s help in identifying the culprit.

Major Mike Nunn with the FCSO says the suspect entered the Check and Go, located at 2716 West Palmetto Street, Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:20 p.m. and robbed the store clerks at gunpoint. The suspect then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect was wearing a white jogging suit, had a bandanna over his face, glasses or goggles over his eyes and was possibly wearing a wig. Nunn says witnesses estimate the suspect to be approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slender build, but no other physical description was available.
