A 17-year-old from Pamplico has been arrested and charged with murder. 

According to the Florence County Detention Center website, Tre’quahn Dontrel Fleming was arrested late Saturday night on one count of murder. 

According to Florence County Chief Deputy Glenn Kirby, Fleming is charged in connection to a shooting that occurred Saturday night on South Elm St. in Pamplico.

According to the Florence County Coroner, Keith von Lutcken, Harry Antron Thomas, 38, died in the shooting.  An autopsy will be done Monday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Major Michael Nunn of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release, that Fleming allegedly shot and killed Thomas after an argument around 8 p.m.

Fleming is being held at the Florence County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
