FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public in hopes of identifying a suspect in a armed robbery at a Dollar General.

The release from Major Michael Nunn says around 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov.14,  a man wearing a black hoodie walked into the Dollar General Store located at 3040 Alligator Road and robbed a cashier at gunpoint.

Investigators arrived about two minutes after the store clerk called 911.

Nunn says the man was wearing a bandana over his face, a black hoodie, white pants and black shoes during the incident.
