(LAKE CITY, SC.) – Administrators in Lake City got an early start Saturday morning as they prepared to recruit for future employees.
Angelia Scott, Director of Human Resources for Florence County School District Three said candidates from all over the state and out of state attended the fair and she is hoping to make several of them apart of their family.
Florence School District Three has a total of eight schools in the area and employers are looking for the best people to prepare their students for a bright future.
“We are looking for teachers and leaders who are able to help us achieve the goal of making sure our students are college and career ready, ” said Scott.
Job seekers traveled miles and some minutes to learn more about the opportunities for employment in district three
“I’ve been teaching thirty plus years. I Iove what I do and enjoy it. I am ready now that since my kids are out of the house and grown for that third stage and coming to Florence would be a very good thing,”said Darlene Lewis.
“Changing children lives and seeing them progress from little and all the way up and just the joy to see them grow and become the people they’re going to be is my passion, “said Erica Poston.
