FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A Florence County man has been charged after allegedly passing stolen scratch-off lottery tickets.

Rocshawn Farrcon Witherspoon, 38, was arrested by SC Law Enforcement Division agents after allegedly trying to pass two stolen scratch-off lottery tickets “with the intent to defraud the South Carolina Education Lottery,” a press release from SLED says. Witherspoon was booked into the Florence County Detention Center.

The SC Education Lottery requested a SLED Investigation.

The case will be prosecuted by the 5th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
