Florence County Disabilities Foundation’s 3rd annual “Amazing Art by Special Artists”

FLORENCE, SC – Florence County Disabilities Foundation will sponsor the 3^rd Annual Art Contest, “Amazing Art by Special Artists” from Monday, April 25^th through Friday, April 29^th  from 9 am to 4 pm daily.  Admission is free and the event will be held at the Pee Dee Thrift of Lake City, 219 North Church St. in Lake City, SC.

Many talented individuals with life-long disabilities from throughout South Carolina will be competing for prizes which include 1^st Place – $1,000, 2^nd Place $500, and 3^rd Place $200. In addition, a People’s Choice Award for $300 selected by the voting public will be awarded.  Winners will be announced on Friday, April 29^th at 11 am at the Pee Dee Thrift of Lake City.

This is an opportunity for the community to show its support  for the artistic individuals by visiting and seeing these creative pieces of art and also shopping for items from the wide variety of inventory.  These special artists will also have the opportunity to sell their artwork if they wish.
