The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a criminal sexual conduct that happened near Pamplico.
On July 3, deputies responded to a report of a criminal sexual conduct on Old River Road near Pamplico, Sheriff Kenney Boone says in a press release.
According to FCSO Investigators, around 10:30 p.m. that evening, the victim says she got of out bed to discover an unidentified man standing in her home. After demanding money, the suspect is accused of sexually assaulting the victim.

Crime Stoppers is offering a monetary award for information leading to the arrest of the suspect, according to the release.
