FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are investigating a fatal shooting.
Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting happened on Handy Lane in Florence Thursday night around 9:14 p.m. Nunn says one victim was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim as Nadrian Darneil Benbow, 28, of Timmonsville. An autopsy will be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Another victim was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound, but that victim’s condition was not immediately known, says Major Nunn.
