FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting at the America’s Best Value Inn in Florence on TV Road.
According to Major Mike Nunn, deputies got there around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. They found one victim already dead on the scene.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim as Michael Harvey Cox, 31, of Florence. An autopsy is scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston on Monday morning.
Investigators are looking for the person in the photo attached to this story. This person is considered a person of interest in the investigation.
