Florence Civic Center invites Pokemon Go players to take a break

FLORENCE, S.C. – The Florence Civic Center is offering free bottled water and a break from the heat to Pokemon Go players in the area.

A post on the civic center’s Facebook page advertises a break for players to recharge everyday from 8:30 -5:30 during the week.

Pokemon Go is an augmented reality game that lets players capture, battle, and train virtual Pokemon who appear throughout the real world.

The smartphone app has gone viral and according to some surveys, the game boasts over 20 million daily active users in the U.S.
