FLORENCE (WBTW) – A Florence Christian School kindergarten teacher recently was named the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) Lower School Teacher of the Year.
According to a press release from the school, Amber Nesbit received the award at the SCISA awards banquet on Tuesday.
FCS Principal Jim Berry said Nesbit was selected from among 3,000 teachers statewide and she has taught kindergarten at the school for seven years.
