FLORENCE – Calhoun Academy scored four runs in the first inning and rolled past Florence Christian 15-4 in five innings Tuesday in the SCISA Class 2A semifinal series.
The Cavaliers took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series. Game 2 is Wednesday in St. Matthews.
