FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The seventh-annual Florence Beer Fest kicked off Saturday and organizers say attendance is up from last year.
More than two thousand people attended the event and over 40 vendors each served different types of craft beer.
The beer fest brought in more than $15,000 for charity last year and organizers wanted to exceed that amount this year.
Organizers say money that is leftover, after covering costs will go to a charity of their choice.
This year’s charity is Bethlehem Therapeutic Riding Stables in Timmonsville.
The stable provides therapeutic horseback riding for those with special needs, the wounded warriors and the veterans.
