FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) – One unique small business in Florence showcased local Pee Dee artists for Small Business Saturday.
T.Thomas Arts usually offers ceramic classes but Saturday the owners invited more than 20 local Pee Dee artists to sell their art during the stores first Small Business Saturday.
Artists displayed homemade cosmetics, clothes, and jewelry.
The art studio opened in May, earlier this year, in Downtown Florence.
The owners say local shops like this help bring people to the area.
Tiffany Thomas, owner of T.Thomas Arts said, “We wanted to offer something different and fun. And offer things that had variety. I feel like with cities people want to go to places that are interesting and where there are unique things. That’s what makes a city a great place to live!”
The shop had such great business today the owners are planning to have an artisan shop each Saturday until Christmas.
