If you’re a Jeep lover or owner, Myrtle Beach was the place to be this weekend!
Almost ten thousand people attended the first-ever Jeep Jam in Myrtle Beach.
Native Sons Screen Printing in Myrtle Beach held the festival at the old Myrtle Square Mall site on North Kings Highway. It included an obstacle course, a Jeep awards show, and more than 50 vendors.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be to Special Operations Wounded Warriors, which provides outdoor excursions for wounded veterans.
“We drive around Myrtle Beach and we see Jeeps all the time. We see all these Jeep events popping up all across the east coast. And Myrtle Beach is the perfect family friendly destination for everyone to have a vacation, kick off the spring, summer with a good old Jeep festival,” PJ Bernacki, director of Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam.
Organizers said they plan to make Jeep Jam an annual event and hope to eventually make the festival a week-long event.
