HARTSVILLE, SC – The first Hartsville Fiddlers Convention will be held in Hartsville, South Carolina at Center Theatre on 212 North 5th Street. The event is
September 23-24, 2016. Organizers hope to make it an annual event. The convention is sponsored by Omar Shriners, Darlington Red Fez Club, and Jolly Jeepsters of Omar Shrine, Mt. Pleasant. In addition to the convention, the Darlington Red Fez Club and the Jolly Jeepsters are sponsoring an outreach clinic for Shriners Hospitals for Children during this event. It’s open to any child who might benefit from the specialized care at Shriners Hospitals for Children. It will be held on Saturday, September 24, at the Center Theater in Hartsville from 10am until 2 pm.

If you love the iconic sound of Bluegrass Music, come out to the 1st Annual Hartsville Fiddlers Convention September 23 & 24 at Center Theater in Hartsville, SC. Hear incredible Bluegrass guitar players and bands compete for the best sound during the day on Friday, followed by a “Street & Square Dance” on Carolina Avenue. The Hartsville High School Band will kick off the dancing and food will available for purchase. On Saturday, the individual Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle and Dobro Competitions will take place, followed by a winner’s showcase to cap off the convention. The Omar Shriners’ Darlington Red Fez Club and Jolly Jeepsters are proud to sponsor the 1st Annual Hartsville Fiddlers Convention along with an outreach clinic for Shriners Hospitals for Children during the event.
