FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence firefighters were called to a reported house fire Wednesday morning.
According to Captain Anthony Fox with the West Florence Fire Department, firefighters were called to a home on Stockton Drive in the Vintage Place subdivision around 8:15 a.m.
Firefighters were on scene in about six minutes from the time of the call and found fire coming out of the attic.
There was no one home at the time of the fire and the two family dogs were removed from the house by a neighbor with out injury, Fox said.
The house suffered minor damage to room and to the exterior of the house.
