POWDERSVILLE, SC — A wreck involving two tractor trailers has blocked I-85 northbound lanes, Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. near mile marker 40 in Powdersville.
The Anderson County Fire Department says one of the tractor trailers caught fire and at least one person is hurt.
Two fire departments are on the scene, along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Anderson County Sheriff’s office.
There is another tractor-trailer incident at mile marker 17 in Anderson County.
Fire dispatch says the tractor-trailer caught fire around 1 a.m. and spilled 200 gallons of fuel.
The Anderson County Fire Department and the hazmat team are still cleaning up at the scene.
