FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The summer 2016 practical nursing class graduates at Florence-Darlington Tech all passed national certification.
Nursing grads must pass the certification test before they can begin work and the school says it’s the first time in 20 years an entire class had a 100 percent pass rate.
“I think that the practical nursing program has grown and has been a tremendous influence on a lot of students lives. Many of the students who graduate, not all but many of the students who graduate from the practical nursing program, come back and complete the registered nursing program,” Program Coordinator Naomi Woods said.
