ST. LOUIS, MO — The husband from the real-life “Fault In Our Stars” couple has died.
According to CNN, Dalton Prager died at a hospital in St. Louis, Saturday.
Family members says Prager was on Facetime with his wife, Katie, as he was dying.
Katie is in hospice in Kentucky, after doctors said there’s nothing they can do about her cystic fibrosis, the same condition Dalton suffered from.
The condition led the couple to meet on Facebook seven years ago. Later, when they married, they were compared to the couple in the movie and book “The Fault in Our Stars.”
However, over the last few years, the couple’s health got worse, despite receiving lung transplants.
Dalton’s funeral is to be held Wednesday in Missouri.
