CARLISLE, SC – A father and son are in jail after being charged with shooting a man at a convenience store.
Albert Jeter, Junior, 59, and Albert Donnell Jeter, 27, face several charges from the Union County Sheriff’s Office after a shooting Saturday afternoon at a Lil Cricket store in Carlisle.
Deputies say a 25-year-old man was found face down on the floor of the store on Janie Glymph Goree Boulevard around 3:00 p.m. The victim was bleeding from the head and neck, but was able to talk to investigators.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office incident report shows a suspect vehicle was identified and found later on Coley Gray Road.
Deputies went there and made the two arrests.
Albert Jeter, Junior and Albert Donnell Jeter are both charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a gun.
