HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)-According to Horry County Fire Rescue a family is now displaced after a fire early Sunday morning.
HCFR Assistant Chief Justin Gibbins says crews responded to Plantation Drive in the Deerfield Subdivision.
When firefighters arrived they found fire showing from the carport and attached storage area. The fire spread to the attic and first floor of the home.
Everyone made it out safely but the family is now displaced because of the fire.
Gibbins says a clothes dryer caused the fire.
