Less than 30 minutes after SC police posted social media photos of a thief wanted for shoving hair extensions in his pants, police had his identity thanks to Facebook tips, authorities say.

28-year-old Robert Lamont Wilson’s picture was caught who he was stealing hair extensions on a shop’s surveillance camera in Beaufort, police said

Wilson, who was identified by people who knew him, was wearing a shirt that said “REAL Realize Everyone Ain’t Loyal” during the theft, police said.

The photos of the man involved in the theft on Monday were posted around 11 am Thursday. Officials said it took only 20 minutes for his identity to be revealed. Around 2 pm police said they were pursuing arrest warrants.

During the incident, investigators say Wilson grabbed hair extensions in Oakman’s Beauty Supply and pushed them down into his pants. He man did pay for some items, but walked out of the store without paying for the hair extensions, police say.

Beaufort Police say that they now have shoplifting arrest warrants for Wilson.
