F-150 truck lands on ejected driver after deadly Williamsburg County crash, SCHP says

HEMINGWAY, SC (WBTW) – A crash in Williamsburg County killed one person Wednesday evening.

It happened around 5:40pm on Tupperware Road near Hemingway,.

South Carolina Highway Patrol LCpl. Matt Southern says the driver of a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup headed east on Tupperware Road, ran off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.

Southern says the crash threw the driver from the truck, which rolled over several times and landed on the person.

We don’t have the driver’s name.

Troopers say the person was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
