POLKTON, NORTH CAROLINA – The Department of Public Safety and local law enforcement officers are searching for an inmate who escaped early this morning from Brown Creek Minimum Unit. Inmate Kristopher McNeil #081147 was discovered missing just after midnight this morning and believed to have scaled the fence.
McNeil, 29, was serving a 14-year sentence for second degree murder. He was scheduled for release in 2018.
