FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) – Political leaders and key industry representatives are attending a symposium in Florence focusing on economic development in South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District.
The Monday session at Florence Darlington Technical College is being hosted by Congressman Tom Rice.
The event will highlight ongoing economic development efforts in the district in the northeastern corner of the state and feature panels of experts discussing infrastructure and aviation.
Those attending include representatives from the state’s tourism industry, South Carolina’s ports and Department of Commerce and other officials.
