Dylann Roof counsel files motion for new Federal trial

CHARLESTON,SC (WCBD) – Dylann Roof filed Friday, through his counsel, for a new federal trial.

Friday was the deadline for Roof’s counsel to file an appeal for a new federal trial.

This comes just a month after he was sentenced to death. Roof was convicted in December for the death of nine church members at Emanuel AME church in downtown Charleston.
