MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A dump truck driver snagged a few power lines near the Socastee Trading Post Thursday afternoon, Sonny Collins of the SC Highway Patrol said.
The driver was on Highway 544 and did not realize that the truck bed was in the elevated position.
Traffic was briefly rerouted as workers repaired the power lines.
There were no injuries reported, and troopers are still trying to locate the dump truck driver.
