MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police are searching for the driver of an older model blue Mustang after he hit another man with his car following a fight in a club parking lot in December.
According to an incident report from Myrtle Beach Police, two men, Carter Steele, 28, and Travis Wampler, 25, were inside Club
Pulse in Myrtle Beach around 1:24 a.m. on December 18 when another man at the bar called them a “derogatory name,” the report states.
Steele and Wampler got into an argument with the man, which carried over into the club parking lot. The argument turned physical amongst the men until the third man got into a blue Mustang, backed out of the parking space and hit Wampler on his way out of the parking lot, according to police.
When officers arrived, based on Steele and Wampler’s story, along with surveillance video provided by the club, Steele and Wampler were arrested, and police are now searching for the driver of the Mustang.
Steele and Wampler are each charged with one count of disorderly conduct, and Wampler also faces one count of public intoxication.
