DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – One driver was killed Tuesday morning in a three – vehicle crash on US 52 and Syracuse Street.
According to Cpl. Sonny Collins with SC Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 10 a.m. when the driver of a Buick was traveling on Syracuse Street and ran a stop sign. Officials say the driver collided with a Chevrolet and an 18-wheeler before landing in a ditch.
Collins says the driver of the Buick died and the driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says the crash killed Donna Weatherford.
Officials say no charges have been filed.
