DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – A reported domestic disturbance call led officers to discover drugs and cash inside a home, according to the Darlington Police Department.

Lt. Kimberly Nelson, spokeswoman for the department, says officers were dispatched to 102 Faith Ln., in Darlington, around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they reportedly saw marijuana and cocaine.

Nelson says a search warrant led officers to find “other amounts other amounts of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, methylenedioxymethanmphetamine (M.D.M.A.), ecstasy, and cash” in the home.

“Drug dealing of any type will not be tolerated within the city of limits of Darlington,” stated Kelvin Washington, Chief of Police for Darlington.

The Darlington Police Department arrested Reginald Andre Dudley, 25; Nikia Lakenya Smith, 24; and Shanitta Danyel Alford, 24. Officers say all were charged with trafficking in powder, crack cocaine, MDMA, marijuana and possession with intent to distribute. All three were also charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

Nelson says the case remains under investigation.
