NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – More than 150 people and their dogs went out to the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex Saturday morning for the third annual Doggy Bone Hunt, 5-k and one mile walk.
The event is a fund-raiser for the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach and raised $5,000 for the group.
Dog lovers came out to show their support, while letting their pets have some fun.
“She had fun meeting a lot of other puppies. though she was probably the smallest one, she had fun,” said Ola Bryan of her dog Tink.
It was the largest crowd the event has drawn so far, the money raised will go towards food, vaccines, spay and neuters and other supplies.
