A documentary spotlighting two Hartsville schools airs Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

“180 days: Hartsville,” that follows Thornwell and West Hartsville Elementary Schools in Darlington.

Viewers will experience a year in the life of one Southern town’s efforts to address the urgent demand for reform in American public schools, and watch what happens when the systems that can either fuel or diffuse that reform – bureaucracy, economic opportunity, and fixed mindsets – interact and intersect.

The film premieres Tuesday from 8:00 a.m -10 p.m. on PBS.

ETV  airs a follow-up program at 10:00 p.m. with education leaders and others from the film.
