‘Disturbing’ video shows woman being abducted in Miami, police investigating

Police are investigating an abduction of a woman in Miami and are hoping video of the incident will help them identify and find the people involved.

The incident happened Friday on 36th Street in the Allapattah area of Miami. Police say the whole thing was captured in a “very disturbing video.”

“We want to inform everybody that there has been a young lady that has been abducted. In this video, you’re going to see she is taken by force,” Commander Freddie Cruz said in a Facebook video.

Officers say the woman was abducted and put into a newer model white Nissan Altima with a paper tag.

“We don’t know the whereabouts of this young lady, we don’t know if she’s hurt,” Cruz said. “This is someone’s daughter, this is someone’s sisters, someone’s family member. We need to apprehend this individual, we need to bring this young lady back home to safety.”

Anyone with information is asked to come forward and share it with police.

“Any and all information, it does not matter how little it is or speculation of anything, any information at this moment is important,” Commander Cruz said. “You don’t have to live in Miami. If you think that you might have information somewhere else, please come forward.”
