DILLON, SC (WBTW) – The Dillon Police Department is investigating the death of a man after an incident on South 4th Avenue in Dillon Wednesday.
Officers received the call around 1 p.m., said Chief David Lane with Dillon Police.
On Thursday, Chief Lane identified the victim as Brandon A. Hargrove of Dillon. The chief also says Hargrove was shot multiple times.
Neighbors of the victim tell News13 that the man’s body was discovered in the garage behind the home on South 4th Avenue.
SLED, the Dillon County Sheriff’s office, and SC Probation Parole are all assisting in the murder investigation. Officials say they have several leads and have conducted numerous interviews.
