DILLON, SC (WBTW) – The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office confirms two people were shot Friday afternoon.
According to Captain Cliff Arnette with the sheriff’s office, the shooting occurred on Lester Road in Dillon, but Capt. Arnette did not say what led to the shooting. Two people were shot, officials confirm, one of them died. The condition of the other is still unknown.
Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley told us the victim who died was 20-year-old Eric Dixon of Dillon County.
Capt. Arnette says the shooting is currently under investigation but did not say if anyone is in custody.
