LAKE VIEW, SC (WBTW) – The Dillon County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a body found Wednesday morning.
According to Captain Cliff Arnette, a body was found near a bridge on State Road 30 outside of Lake View, but officials are not releasing any information in regards to the person’s sex, race or possible cause of death.
Litter patrol was clearing the area Wednesday morning when workers noticed something suspicious and called the sheriff’s office. The coroner was also on the scene as deputies had the area blocked off from the media. No other information was released at the time of this posting.
