Dillon County deputies, Dillon police respond to barricaded individual

Dillon County deputies and Dillon police are responding to a barricaded individual in Dillon. 

According to Captain Cliff Arnette, with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, a person barricaded himself in a house on 10^th Avenue South in Dillon around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 

A deputy went to the house for a civil process issue, Arnette said. The man is not wanted, but people are being asked to avoid the area.
