DILLION, S.C. (WBTW)- The Dillion County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a suspect after a brief car chase.
According to Captain Cliff Arnett , deputies tried to stop a car around 11:45 Thursday morning in Little Rock. They say the driver refused to stop, and a brief chase ensued.
Deputies lost sight of the car for a while, and when they found it, they determined the driver fled on foot into a wooded area.
Capt. Arnett says they aren’t sure where the driver is now, and they’re working to identify him or her.
They don’t have a description of the suspect.
