CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Wednesday the City of Conway and Burroughs and Co. announced that it would be adding more opportunities for commercial property on the river front.
At the press conference, developers said it would attract hotels, major events and jobs to the area.
The city will be responsible for infrastructure, parking and landscaping.
The mayor of Conway emphasized that the project was still in the planning stages but the new additions to the riverfront would hopefully contribute to growth in the area and also solve some structural issues.
Burroughs and Co. approached the city about the project.
