BUFFALO, SC – A man is accused for attacking women with a lawn mower blade on Buffalo West Springs Highway on Aug. 28, according to a Union Co. Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies say they found a woman who was bleeding from the left side of her neck.
She told investigators Jared Harvey, 26, had came over to confront her and two other women over something that was posted on Facebook.
She said that Harvey had gotten out of a vehicle and charged at them with a stick and bottle.
He then started swinging a lawn mower blade at a woman and hit her in the back and neck.
The woman said Harvey then hit her in the neck with the blade, causing her to lose hearing and movement of her arm.
She say Harvey then hit another woman in the stomach with a tree branch.
Deputies say warrant will be signed on Harvey for 2 counts of Assault and Battery 2nd Degree and 1 count of Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.
