ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WBTW) – The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has charged a 25-year-old man in connection to a deadly  shooting in September 2015.

Maj. Anthony Thompson, spokesman for the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, says Quatrell Damar Nicholson, of Laurinburg, is charged with first degree murder, four counts of armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, seven counts of kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Thompson says the Greensboro Police Department arrested Nicholson on Thursday.

Investigators say the charges stem from an investigation into the death of Rodney Kirk Murphy. Murphy was shot and killed at a residence on Shaw Road in St. Paul son September 28, 2015.
