DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A man wanted for a shooting that killed a man last month was arrested Monday, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd confirmed to News13 the arrest of Levan Latrell Joe, 26, of Manning. He was booked into the Darlington County Detention Center at 1:15 p.m. Monday.

According to the Darlington County Detention Center booking website, Joe is charged with murder, attempted murder, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, criminal conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Byrd says the shooting happened on Lunn Drive in the Pine Ridge area of Hartsville on June 11.

A 31-year-old man from Hartsville died in the shooting. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee identified the man who died as Rondrecus Peterson of Hartsville.
