Police in Florence are investigating after they say a body was found at an apartment complex on Saturday afternoon.
According to Lt. Mike Brandt of the Florence Police Department, officers were dispatched to an apartment around 4:30 p.m. in the 150 block of North Franklin drive for a welfare check.
Officers made entry into the apartment and found the occupant deceased inside.
Florence Police Department and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are now investigating the death.
