DILLON, SC (WBTW) – Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley released the name of the woman who died New Year’s Day night on Calhoun Street in Dillon.
Grimsley says June Rippy, 54, of Dillon, died of injuries she sustained after falling from a moving car.
Grimsley says Rippy’s death is being treated as suspicious.
News13 spoke with Dillon Police Chief David Lane Friday night about the case.
He told us he could not release any new information about Rippy’s death or possible suspects or arrests at this time.
